Scott Kindschi
(Marcellus Washburn)
Scott is celebrating his 30th year of involvement in theater with this, his 13th BTG production since 2002. After a nine-year break from the stage, Scott made his BTG debut as Jesus in 2002’s Jesus Christ Superstar. Since then, he has appeared in 11 other BTG shows, including as Fagin in Oliver and Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, he directed last fall’s The Mystery of Edwin Drood, he’s served as the BTG President from 2008 to 2009, and he continues to share his love of acting through Guild-sponsored acting classes for children and adults alike. A veteran of over 70+ productions throughout his career, most of them onstage, Scott is proud to be a member of this community, is appreciative of all the talented local individuals so integral to theater in this area, and is enormously thankful for all of the support he has received over the years from all of the area’s supporters of the arts.
Scott is also thankful for the love and support of his wife of 14-years, Jennifer, who is active in the local theater scene, as well. This fall she is playing the role of Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn as they participate in their fifth show together. They live a quiet life (except for the occasional BTG production) in their beautiful home in Baraboo with their two dogs, Titan and Princess Leia. |
