Kathy Cline Huebing
(Mrs. Paroo)
The very first BTG musical Kathy Cline Huebing can remember seeing was the 1973 production of The Music Man. Kathy stated that she had never seen a community production done so well and was amazed at the talent that Baraboo had to offer. She remains amazed, year after year, at the depth of talent in the area and is certain that this years production will not disappoint.
Kathy has much to offer in the way of stage experience. Kathy has appeared on stage, on the screen and under the big top as a performer at Circus World Museum. At the Circus she was what is known in the business as a ballet girl. She appeared in circus aerial productions, put miniature horses through their paces and rode elephants. On the Screen, as a child actor, she appeared in several movies; one of which was based on the circus and was entitled “Ring of Fear”. On the stage she was a part of the Manuel Del Oro Flamenco Dance Troupe.
Kathy has appeared in far to many BTG productions to mention from Vaudeville in 1975 to more recently the BTG production of The Matchmaker. Many people can remember her as Anna in the King and I, Lucille in The Cemetery Club, and Truvy in Steel Magnolias. She has served as president of BTG, has been a member of the Board and is a Lifetime member of BTG.
Kathy lives in Baraboo with her husband Gary ( a member of our Quartet) and a kennel of Australian Terrier Dogs. She enjoys training her dogs, gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy states that she considers herself a “jack of all trades and master of none” especially life which she will continue to try and get right. Dance, Love, Sing, LIVE ! |
